Effective learning outcomes can be articulated at several levels, including lesson, course, program, degree, etc. WHAT ARE LEARNING OUTCOMES? Learning outcomes are statements of what PARTICIPANTS will learn during their mobility experience as you described it in the activities. The statements are focused on learning (What will they will learn in that specific time span of the mobility?). The Essential Learning Outcomes define the knowledge and skills gained from a liberal education, providing a framework to guide students’ cumulative progress. Beginning in school, and continuing at successively higher levels across their college studies, students should prepare for twenty-first-century challenges by gaining: Learning outcomes are user-friendly statements that tell students what they will be able to do at the end of a period of time.
